The digital asset XRP witnessed a sharp 7.32% correction during the last 24-hour period, settling near the $1.50 mark on September 24, 2026. Trading activity remained robust with $7.05 billion in volume, while the asset maintained a $94.53 billion valuation.

Interestingly, institutional investment through spot XRP exchange-traded funds continued its upward trajectory despite price weakness. Market analyst X Finance Bull reported that September witnessed $61.87 million in fresh ETF capital, elevating cumulative net inflows to $1.73 billion.
This divergence between declining spot prices and strengthening ETF demand represents an ongoing market dynamic. Institutional participants continue accumulating positions through regulated products while short-term price action remains volatile.
Technical Indicators Point to Critical Price Zones
Market technician CRYPTOWZRD observed that XRP concluded with bearish momentum and currently trades beneath the $1.5300 resistance threshold. According to his analysis, breaking back above this barrier could spark a recovery rally, whereas continued rejection may fuel additional volatility.
CRYPTOWZRD highlighted $1.4400 as the critical support level that traders are monitoring. Maintaining price action above this floor could provide stability, while a decisive breakdown might trigger intensified selling.
During a wider market correction, XRP momentarily touched approximately $1.45 before demand emerged to lift prices back toward $1.52. At that moment, the token showed a 1.39% gain from its intraday low.
The $1.45 to $1.42 corridor now represents the immediate support boundary. Should XRP successfully defend this area, bulls could attempt another assault on the $1.60 resistance.
Breaking through $1.60 would potentially clear the runway toward $1.66, a zone where XRP previously encountered distribution. Conversely, if the $1.42 floor gives way, market participants will shift focus to $1.36 as the next downside target.
Importantly, XRP continues trading above its primary moving averages. This indicates the broader uptrend structure remains intact despite short-term turbulence.
Expanding User Base Despite Volatility
Addresses containing XRP expanded to 8.15 million, representing growth from approximately 7.72 million recorded in late March. This reflects an addition of roughly 430,000 addresses during a six-month span.
This expansion persisted through both bullish rallies and bearish corrections. The data suggests sustained interest in XRP that transcends speculative trading behavior driven by immediate price movements.
Exchange flow metrics present a nuanced picture. Approximately 524,000 XRP tokens flowed into centralized platforms recently, while around 135,000 exited, resulting in net inflows of roughly 389,000 XRP.
Deposits to exchanges typically signal potential selling pressure. However, this volume remained modest relative to the multi-million token transfers observed during previous volatile periods.
Market analyst PharaohX33 presented a near-term forecast via X, projecting XRP will advance into the $2.00 to $2.30 corridor before experiencing a correction. He anticipates this retracement will establish a higher low above $1.00, followed by lateral consolidation.
PharaohX33 emphasized that the annual candle structure turns constructive above $1.84, potentially catalyzing momentum once XRP surpasses $1.85. According to his assessment, the decisive challenge will be breaking through resistance near $2.20 in upcoming weeks.
From a regulatory perspective, CFTC Chairman Michael Selig announced the commission is leveraging existing authority to construct market infrastructure for digital assets. He confirmed the CFTC is actively developing comprehensive guidelines for the cryptocurrency sector.
Selig’s statements carry implications for cryptocurrency exchanges and digital asset companies conducting US operations. With XRP ETF inflows totaling $1.73 billion year-to-date and the token trading around $1.50, attention remains focused on the $1.5300 resistance and $1.4400 support boundaries.
