Shares of Meta Platforms experienced a robust 7% rally during Wednesday’s trading session, pushing the stock to approximately $653āmarking its strongest performance in eight weeks. The surge came one day after the company unveiled Muse, its standalone autonomous AI assistant platform.
The Muse platform emerged from Meta Superintelligence Labs and operates on the proprietary Muse Spark 1.3 foundation model. This AI agent can autonomously execute practical tasks such as launching applications, completing digital forms, arranging travel accommodations, and composing emails on behalf of users.
Brian Nowak, an analyst at Morgan Stanley, characterized the product launch as a significant entry into what he projects to be a $30 trillion consumer AI agent ecosystem. Nowak reaffirmed his Buy recommendation while maintaining his $775 price objective, suggesting potential appreciation of approximately 19% from present valuation.
Among over 12,000 Wall Street analysts monitored on TipRanks, Nowak holds the #1,685 position, landing him within the top 14%. His track record includes a 57% accuracy rate with an average return of 5.60% across his recommendations.
According to Nowak, Meta’s ecosystem of applicationsāspanning Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsAppāpositions the company advantageously for distributing AI agent solutions. The platform’s reach of more than 3 billion daily active users provides Meta with unparalleled distribution capabilities.
Analyst Perspectives on the Launch
John Blackledge from TD Cowen similarly upheld his Buy stance on META, keeping his $750 price target unchanged. This valuation suggests approximately 15% upside potential.
In his analysis, Blackledge took a measured approach: while he doesn’t anticipate immediate revenue generation from Muse, he sees potential for the product to evolve into a substantial revenue contributor in future periods.
The broader analyst community demonstrates strong conviction in the stock. Drawing from 37 Buy recommendations and six Hold ratings published in the last three months, META earns a Strong Buy consensus rating. The collective average target price stands at $753.08.

Concurrently, ARK liquidated 84,392 shares of Alphabet (GOOGL) valued at about $27.8M through identical funds. The transaction signals a deliberate portfolio rebalancing from one technology giant to another.
Beyond the Muse announcement, additional momentum came from Meta‘s acquisition of Stilla.ai, a Sweden-based artificial intelligence firm. This strategic purchase is anticipated to strengthen Meta’s capabilities in developing AI-powered business automation agents.
