Foxconn delivered unprecedented August sales figures and anticipates its third-quarter performance will surpass analyst projections, propelled by accelerating demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The Taiwan-based contract manufacturing powerhouse disclosed consolidated monthly revenue reaching T$921.8 billion (roughly $29.15 billion) for August, representing a 52% year-over-year increase. The figure marks an all-time high for the month of August and continues a streak of two consecutive months exceeding the T$900 billion milestone.
Shares of Foxconn advanced 3.4% during Friday’s session, significantly outperforming Taiwan’s benchmark index, which registered a 1.5% gain. The company unveiled its monthly revenue data after trading concluded.

“In the third quarter, as AI demand continues to grow, and ICT products also enter the peak season of the second half of the year, operations are expected to gradually gain momentum,” the company said in a statement.
The electronics manufacturer noted that its third-quarter outlook has “improved compared to the previous month,” projecting overall quarterly results will exceed Wall Street estimates. Consistent with standard practice, Foxconn refrained from issuing precise numerical guidance.
AI Infrastructure Surge Powers Revenue
Hon Hai Precision has emerged as a primary beneficiary of worldwide AI infrastructure expansion. Serving as Nvidia’s largest server assembly partner, the company occupies a strategic position within the supply chain supporting global data center operations.
In the previous month, Foxconn disclosed a 35% increase in second-quarter earnings, exceeding analyst expectations. These results demonstrated that enterprise spending on AI infrastructure is flowing directly to the manufacturer’s bottom line.
Beyond producing AI servers for Nvidia, the company maintains a significant relationship with Apple as a primary supplier, positioning it to capitalize on both enterprise AI hardware demand and the traditional second-half consumer electronics selling season.
Geopolitical Uncertainty Looms
While maintaining an optimistic outlook, Foxconn acknowledged potential headwinds. The company highlighted the necessity of tracking “the impact of the volatile global political and economic situation,” without elaborating on specific concerns.
Such cautionary language from an organization with Foxconn’s extensive international operations typically encompasses diverse risks, ranging from evolving trade regulations to potential supply chain bottlenecks.
Nevertheless, the fundamental financial performance remains compelling. Back-to-back months surpassing T$900 billion in sales, coupled with record-breaking August figures, indicate the business is operating with substantial momentum.
Market sentiment toward Foxconn shares has been decidedly positive. The 3.4% rally on Friday occurred before the market had access to the August revenue figures.
