On Monday, ARK Innovation ETF sold 1,594 Tesla shares worth $546,247. The sale comes as Tesla faces growing competition from Chinese electric vehicle makers.
BYD, Li Auto, Nio and Xpeng reported strong May delivery numbers. These companies continue to challenge Tesla’s market position in the electric vehicle space.
ARK also exited 17,467 Palantir shares on Monday through ARKK. The sale netted approximately $2.31 million with Palantir stock closing at $132.04.
The firm cited concerns over privacy and data use as reasons for the Palantir sale. These issues have become central to debates about the company’s business model.
On Tuesday, ARK made several large purchases. The ARK Next Generation Internet ETF bought 29,837 Amazon shares worth $6.2 million.
ARK Doubles Down on Tech Giants
The same ETF purchased 53,081 AMD shares valued at $6.1 million. These purchases show confidence in both companies’ growth prospects.
Wall Street analysts remain bullish on Amazon stock. They expect the company to benefit from its dominance in e-commerce and cloud computing.
