Enterprise Technology Segment Drives 23.5% Quarterly Revenue Surge
The networking equipment manufacturer announced fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue totaling $937.3 million, marking a substantial 23.5% year-over-year improvement. Sequential revenue growth reached 18.9% compared to the third quarter as customer demand accelerated throughout its Enterprise Technology division. For the complete fiscal year, revenue climbed to $3.27 billion, delivering a remarkable 27.2% gain versus fiscal 2025 performance.
The Enterprise Technology segment contributed $868.3 million during the recent quarter, substantially higher than the $680.1 million recorded in the year-ago period. Conversely, Service Provider Technology revenue decreased to $69 million from the prior year’s $79 million. Enhanced enterprise product sales emerged as the primary catalyst supporting Ubiquiti’s impressive quarterly revenue performance.
Geographically, North American operations generated $507.4 million in revenue, significantly exceeding the $379.9 million achieved during fiscal 2025’s fourth quarter. The EMEA region also demonstrated solid growth, producing $331.6 million versus $303.8 million in the comparable period. Asia Pacific operations contributed $69.4 million, while South American markets added $28.9 million to total revenue.
Profitability Advances Despite Margin Pressure from Rising Input Expenses
Ubiquiti delivered GAAP net income of $284.9 million for the fourth quarter, achieving 6.8% growth compared to the previous year. Non-GAAP net income demonstrated stronger momentum, advancing 33.6% year-over-year to $286.5 million. On a per-share basis, GAAP diluted earnings totaled $4.70, while adjusted earnings measured $4.73 per share.
Gross profit for the quarter expanded to $429.3 million from the prior year’s $342.7 million. Nevertheless, gross margin experienced sequential compression to 45.8% from 47% due to elevated component procurement and logistics expenses. Despite this pressure, the margin still exceeded the 45.1% level achieved during the comparable fiscal 2025 quarter.
Operating expenditures increased as the company invested in innovation and expanded its direct-to-consumer webstore capabilities. Research and development spending reached $53 million, while selling and administrative costs climbed to $36.3 million. Management attributed these increases to higher prototype development, software investments, professional service fees, and marketing initiatives.
Shareholder Returns Enhanced Through Buyback Extension and Dividend Declaration
The company announced an extension of its current share repurchase program through September 30, 2027, preserving authorization for purchases up to $500 million. This initiative provides management with continued flexibility to acquire shares opportunistically based on prevailing market valuations and capital availability. The program extension aligns with accelerating annual revenue momentum and strengthening full-year profitability metrics.
Additionally, the board approved a $1.00 per-share cash dividend scheduled for payment on September 8, 2026. Stockholders of record as of August 31 will be eligible to receive this distribution. Ubiquiti has committed to quarterly dividend payments of at least $1.00 per share throughout the entirety of fiscal 2027.
These financial results reflect ongoing momentum across Ubiquiti’s enterprise networking portfolio and successful geographic expansion efforts. Nevertheless, component supply constraints and increasing input costs continue to challenge margin stability and product availability. Despite these headwinds, strengthening revenue trends, earnings growth, dividend commitments, and the renewed buyback authorization collectively fueled UI stock’s pre-market rally.
