Strive has expanded its Bitcoin treasury following a $143 million acquisition of 1,800 BTC. Company CEO Matt Cole disclosed that the transaction executed at an average cost of $79,431 per Bitcoin. This addition brings Strive’s aggregate position to 23,156 BTC.
With Bitcoin trading around $78,000, the corporate treasury holds approximately $1.8 billion in value. This strategic purchase propelled Strive into fifth position on the ranking of publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders, moving ahead of Bullish.
Increased Acquisition Velocity at Strive
The firm has ramped up its accumulation strategy throughout recent trading periods. Between August 17 and August 21, Strive secured 1,110 BTC in a transaction valued at roughly $81.5 million. Prior to the current purchase, the company maintained 21,356 BTC in reserves.
Cole presented a visual representation tracking the firm’s Bitcoin acquisitions throughout the previous twelve months. The visualization indicated heightened purchasing frequency beginning in March 2026. Capital generated from both common and preferred equity sales continues to fund the company’s digital asset accumulation approach.
The recent acquisition coincided with similar announcements from other prominent corporate entities. Strive completed a 4,603 BTC purchase valued at approximately $370 million following a two-month hiatus in acquisition activity. The company’s complete position reached 845,050 BTC.
Bitmine disclosed an acquisition of 53,501 ETH, pushing its Ethereum reserves beyond 5.9 million ETH. Bullish maintained a position below Strive following earlier reductions to its Bitcoin holdings. MARA Holdings continues to rank above Strive with a treasury of 35,577 BTC.
Financing Mechanisms Behind Strive’s Bitcoin Accumulation
Equity issuance serves as the primary funding source for Strive’s Bitcoin acquisitions. The organization offers common stock under the ASST ticker alongside preferred shares trading as SATA. SATA instruments feature variable dividend payments and maintain trading levels near a $100 par value.
Strive disclosed $171.9 million in available cash following $17.1 million raised via at-the-market equity sales between August 17 and August 21. The company established its presence in corporate Bitcoin holdings through a 2025 combination with Asset Entities and subsequently integrated Semler Scientific.
The medical device operations inherited through the Semler Scientific transaction generated quarterly revenue of $2.94 million. This figure represented nearly double the amount recorded during the comparable period one year prior.
Financial statements for the quarter concluding June 30 reflected a net loss of $257.6 million. Management attributed the majority of this deficit to Bitcoin market volatility and exposure to Strategy preferred securities. Cole emphasized that Strive operates without debt obligations, faces no margin call requirements, and maintains unencumbered Bitcoin holdings.
