How Strive Paid for It
Most of the money came from existing cash. Strive also used its SATS preferred stock program for the first time.
The company launched that at-the-market program on Oct. 26. It allows sales of up to $1 billion in SATS.
SATS sales made up all of the money raised through its ATM programs that week. Cash ended Oct. 30 at $490.4 million, down $14 million from a week earlier.
Strive also holds 505,000 units of Strategyās STRC preferred stock. They were worth about $50.1 million on Oct. 30.
Its SATA preferred stock count stayed just over 14 million. Coleās update listed an Amplification Index of 62.7%.
Chief investment officer Ben Werkman said there are times to be aggressive and times for moderation. He called the effort āa marathon.ā
The Race for Second Place
Strive ranks fourth among public bitcoin holders, per Bitcoin Treasuries. Strategy leads with 849,327 BTC.
Metaplanet holds 44,000 BTC and Twenty One has 43,514 BTC. MARA rounds out the top five with 35,577 BTC.
Cole has said he wants second place by year-end. Strive would need fewer than 100 BTC a week to pass Metaplanet, if Metaplanet buys nothing more.
Strategy said Monday it bought another 811 bitcoin last week.
