The Quant (QNT) token experienced an extraordinary price surge this week, climbing from roughly $60 to surpass $370, representing gains of more than 300%. Meanwhile, daily trading activity exploded beyond the $1 billion threshold.

Quant operates as a blockchain interoperability solution provider. The platform’s infrastructure enables connectivity between various blockchain networks and traditional financial systems, facilitating institutional transfers of tokenized assets across different ecosystems.
The explosive price movement initiated following The Clearing House’s selection of Quant on September 24. This organization processes more than $2 trillion in daily settlements for 25 prominent US banking institutions.
The Clearing House intends to deploy Quant’s infrastructure for its On-Chain Money Initiative. This system will integrate tokenized bank deposits with current payment infrastructure, including RTP and CHIPS networks, with an anticipated rollout during the first half of 2027.
Cryptocurrency analyst Ted Pillows highlighted the movement on X, noting that $QNT had tripled in value within a week. He emphasized that Quant is integrated into Murex MX.3, a platform utilized by 65 of the planet’s top 100 financial institutions, and that the European Central Bank chose Quant for digital euro testing initiatives. He further observed that the QNT chart had successfully broken through a five-year downward trend.
Financial institution collaborations beyond American borders have expanded significantly. Several United Kingdom banks, including Barclays, HSBC UK, Lloyds, and Santander, executed actual transactions utilizing tokenized sterling deposits constructed on Quant’s technology platform.
Global Partnership Expansion
Within Japan, Quant established an agreement with Dentsu Soken to facilitate programmable digital currency and tokenized deposit systems. Dentsu Soken’s infrastructure maintains connections with BOJ-NET, SWIFT, and CLS settlement platforms.
Quant has additionally collaborated with the Bank for International Settlements and the Bank of England on Project Rosalind, which explored APIs for retail central bank digital currency payment systems.
The European Central Bank designated Quant as a pioneer partner for its digital euro initiative, concentrating on conditional payment capabilities and programmability functionality.
Market Activity Analysis
Concurrent with these announcements, QNT’s derivatives trading remained robust. Open interest climbed to $63.65 million, while futures CVD advanced to 10.37K, indicating strong buying momentum in futures markets.
Approximately $17.2 million in short positions faced liquidation within a 24-hour period. Spot CVD remained negative at -68.48K, suggesting spot market buying has yet to align with futures market activity.
Santiment Intelligence monitored the token’s large holder movements, documenting that QNT registered 645 whale transactions valued at minimum $100,000 within one day, establishing a record for the token. The analytics firm connected this activity to the Clearing House announcement and observed that GRT experienced comparable interest simultaneously.
Technical analysis reveals resistance barriers between $286 and $300. A decisive break above this range could establish a path toward Quant’s previous all-time high of $428.
The $200 to $210 range is considered crucial support if momentum diminishes. A breakthrough above $428 would bring the $500 milestone into consideration for the first time.
According to latest market data, QNT traded around $233 following an intraday peak of $368, with CoinGecko documenting a seven-day increase of approximately 189%.
