NVIDIA-Powered Computing Systems Broaden HP’s AI Product Range
HP unveiled a series of computing devices engineered to handle artificial intelligence workloads locally on personal computers and workstations. The refreshed product range pairs NVIDIA’s processing hardware with Microsoft’s Windows operating system to address needs across consumer, developer, and corporate segments. The company emphasized its commitment to enhancing on-device processing power throughout its hardware catalog.
These product launches represent HP’s continued strategy to diversify beyond its legacy personal computer and printing business segments. The firm is pursuing customers requiring enhanced computational capabilities for application development, multimedia production, and professional productivity tasks. The broadened hardware selection aims to accommodate varying performance demands across different use cases.
HP further announced software enhancements through its collaboration with Perplexity. This integration enables information retrieval, task automation, and content generation on compatible consumer hardware. The company intends to roll out these capabilities across qualifying systems starting November 2026.
Windows Demonstration on NVIDIA GB300-Based ZGX Fury Workstation
During a Microsoft corporate event, HP showcased Windows functionality on its ZGX Fury workstation equipped with NVIDIA’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra chip. Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang jointly presented the system. This demonstration represented HP’s initial public display of the workstation running in a Windows operating environment.
The ZGX Fury workstation specifically addresses the needs of software developers, research professionals, data scientists, and enterprises requiring substantial computational resources. The system’s architecture supports resource-intensive applications, large-scale models, and concurrent processing requests within on-premises computing infrastructures. Organizations gain the ability to handle confidential workloads internally while retaining enhanced control over their technology stack.
HP first disclosed its GB300 workstation initiative at Computex earlier in 2026. This recent demonstration represents progress from those initial announcements by illustrating the hardware’s compatibility with Microsoft’s platform. The company has yet to disclose commercial pricing or widespread availability timelines for the workstation.
October 16 Availability Confirmed for NVIDIA-Enabled OmniBook Models
HP confirmed October 16, 2026 availability for two NVIDIA-powered OmniBook laptops designed for users requiring elevated computing capabilities. The OmniBook Ultra 16 will carry a starting price of $3,199.99, with the OmniBook X 14 priced at $2,999.99. Both models leverage NVIDIA RTX Spark technology to enable local computation, graphics rendering, and creative workflows.
HP will distribute the OmniBook Ultra 16 through its direct sales channel and Best Buy retail locations. The OmniBook X 14 will be available through HP’s website, Costco, Micro Center, Walmart, and additional retail partners. These releases build upon HP’s September unveiling of RTX Spark-equipped systems at the IFA technology conference.
The new laptop models integrate processing capabilities, graphics performance, and unified memory architecture to execute intensive operations without requiring persistent cloud connectivity. HP will provide qualifying buyers with a complimentary one-month Perplexity Pro subscription beginning in November. This portfolio expansion reinforces HP’s competitive positioning in the premium computing market as manufacturers introduce increasingly powerful Windows systems optimized for artificial intelligence workloads.
