Copenhagen Facility Brings NVIDIA Blackwell Computing Power to Denmark
CoreWeave revealed on October 27 that it has launched operations at atNorth’s DEN01 facility in Copenhagen, marking its entry into the Danish market. The majority of the planned 22.5 megawatts of computing infrastructure has been brought online at the location. This deployment strengthens the company’s presence across Europe while addressing rising demand for advanced AI computing capabilities.
The Copenhagen installation features NVIDIA Blackwell systems integrated with NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking infrastructure. These technologies enable efficient processing of intensive computing tasks and enhance data flow between processing components. As a result, CoreWeave now operates nine data center locations spanning five European nations.
Beyond facilities in the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, and Norway, the Danish deployment includes an innovative sustainability component. Through a heat recovery partnership, excess thermal energy from the data center will be channeled into Copenhagen’s district heating infrastructure, supporting the city’s environmental objectives.
Seven-Market Network Expansion Targets Asia-Pacific and Middle East Regions
The company simultaneously unveiled plans for significant network infrastructure expansion throughout Asia-Pacific and Middle Eastern territories. New connectivity points will be established in the United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and Japan. Operations are scheduled to commence in Q4 2026, with full network integration targeted for mid-2027.
This network architecture will link CoreWeave’s computing resources spanning North America, Europe, Middle Eastern markets, and the Asia-Pacific region. Multiple 400-gigabit-per-second connections will be deployed at each point of presence to facilitate high-volume data movement. The infrastructure will incorporate hardware-based encryption alongside redundant network pathways to enhance security and maintain service continuity.
CoreWeave’s objective is to establish a worldwide network infrastructure capable of managing petabit-scale data volumes. This capability will enable clients to move substantial datasets across geographic boundaries and utilize computing resources with greater flexibility. The announcement builds upon recent infrastructure commitments in both India and Indonesia.
Stock Performance Reflects Expanding Global Data Center Portfolio
The international expansion initiatives come as CoreWeave continues scaling its worldwide data center operations. By June 30, 2026, the company’s portfolio encompassed 51 data center facilities generating more than 1.5 gigawatts of active electrical capacity. During its August earnings discussion, CoreWeave disclosed approximately 4.2 gigawatts in contracted power arrangements.
The gap between active capacity and contracted commitments illustrates the magnitude of CoreWeave’s planned infrastructure rollout. The company faces the ongoing challenge of activating additional facilities to transform contracted power agreements into operational computing capacity. The expanding network infrastructure supports clients requiring computing services distributed across diverse geographical locations.
CoreWeave has reinforced its competitive positioning through performance leadership and targeted infrastructure collaborations. The company achieved top MLPerf benchmark results for AI training and inference operations utilizing cutting-edge NVIDIA systems. The latest expansions deliver both increased international computing power and enhanced network connectivity amid accelerating demand for cloud-based AI services.
