Shares of ChronoScale (CHRN) advanced 7.28% to $22.69 during Wednesday’s pre-market session after the firm disclosed its intention to establish a 50-megawatt AI computing facility in collaboration with Microsoft (MSFT) throughout North America.
The collaboration centers on deploying NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems combined with advanced liquid-cooling technology engineered to support demanding AI applications. This configuration aims to address the substantial thermal management and operational requirements associated with cutting-edge accelerated computing environments.
Cenly Chen, ChronoScale’s Chief Executive Officer, characterized the collaboration as evidence of the company’s dedication to developing large-scale AI infrastructure capabilities.
“This planned 50 MW deployment reflects our focus on building AI infrastructure for the density and scale of accelerated computing,” Chen said.
Microsoft shares registered a 0.95% increase during the corresponding trading period.
Project Scope and Technical Specifications
The initiative combines computing power, network architecture, data storage, software solutions, and data center facilities into an integrated full-stack platform. The liquid-cooling architecture addresses thermal management challenges posed by NVIDIA’s accelerated computing configurations, which serve both AI model training and inference applications.
Raj Mirpuri, NVIDIA’s Vice President overseeing Global AI Clouds and Infrastructure Ecosystem, stated that the GB300 NVL72 systems will provide developers and organizations with capabilities to “train and deploy frontier and open-source AI at scale.”
Mirpuri further emphasized that modern AI cloud platforms must operate as comprehensive AI factories, maximizing computational efficiency per watt while progressively reducing token generation costs.
ChronoScale positions itself as a specialized accelerated computing platform purpose-built for AI applications. The company’s infrastructure focuses on enabling large-scale deployment of accelerated computing resources.
Financial Details and Implementation Schedule Remain Undisclosed
The public disclosure omitted specific financial information and implementation timelines for the deployment. Neither organization revealed contract valuations, revenue projections, or target completion milestones.
ChronoScale distributed the announcement through a formal press release on August 27, 2026. The organization operates from its headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
This strategic alliance combines ChronoScale’s infrastructure deployment capabilities with Microsoft’s extensive cloud computing and artificial intelligence operations worldwide.
CHRN reached $22.69 in pre-market activity, representing a 7.28% gain on the announcement date. Microsoft (MSFT) posted a 0.95% increase throughout the same timeframe.
