The most substantial transaction of the trading session involved acquiring 106,941 shares of Cerebras Systems distributed between the ARKK and ARKW ETFs. This purchase totaled approximately $28 million, calculated at the closing share price of $231.01.
Cerebras disclosed financial results showing an adjusted loss of just 4.5 cents per share, significantly better than the analyst consensus of 17 cents. The company achieved record core revenue of $209.9 million, representing a 103% year-over-year surge. Additionally, the firm’s efforts to decrease dependency on Nvidia have captured investor attention.
Palantir Position Reduced Following Impressive Earnings Report
ARK Invest divested 43,874 shares of Palantir Technologies distributed between its ARKK and ARKW funds, generating approximately $7.9 million based on the $179.01 closing price.
The sale follows Palantir‘s announcement of robust second-quarter financial performance. The data analytics company reported a 93% revenue increase alongside operating cash flow of $1.22 billion. Notably, its U.S. commercial segment experienced explosive growth of 149%, generating $764 million in revenue.
Nevertheless, ARK has maintained a consistent selling pattern of Palantir shares across several trading days. According to Benzinga Edge analytics, Palantir demonstrates a Momentum score ranking in the 74th percentile, though its Value score sits at merely the 1st percentile.
Ongoing Reduction of Shopify Holdings
ARK Invest maintained its trend of reducing Shopify exposure, selling 57,045 shares distributed across ARKK, ARKW, and ARKF funds. These transactions totaled approximately $8.6 million.
This selling activity continues a trend established earlier in the week, with ARK systematically decreasing its Shopify allocation.
Among purchase activity, ARK acquired 192,702 shares of Securitize Corp via its ARKF ETF, investing roughly $1.5 million. The firm also added 123,842 shares of Perceptive Capital Solutions Corp through ARKG, representing approximately $1.4 million.
Additional transactions included acquiring 28,179 shares of Schrodinger via ARKG for approximately $525,000, alongside selling 51,171 shares of 10X Genomics valued at roughly $2.96 million.
These transactions demonstrate a strategic reallocation within ARK’s portfolio, with Cerebras Systems emerging as the recipient of the firm’s most significant single-day capital deployment. ARK’s ARKK ETF closed August 13 with a decline of 0.91%, while ARKF decreased 0.45%.
