This surge in institutional appetite occurred while Bitcoin faced downward pressure. The data reveals that ETF purchasing activity failed to provide immediate support to broader spot market prices.

Thursday’s Bitcoin ETFs inflows elevated the weekly aggregate to $203.84 million. The funds appear positioned to achieve their fourth consecutive positive week barring Friday withdrawals exceeding this threshold.
Monthly Inflows Break Streak of Multi-Billion Dollar Outflows
US spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated $437.8 million in net inflows throughout July. This monthly performance stands to conclude a two-month sequence of substantial outflows measured in billions.
Institutional participation strengthened while Bitcoin encountered resistance. BTC price opened near $64,500, advanced past $65,200, then surrendered gains. Market participants quickly eliminated the brief upward movement.
Prices subsequently declined below $64,500 and extended losses through morning trading. Downward momentum persisted despite enhanced ETF activity. Market participants maintained Bitcoin beneath the $64,000 threshold while seeking stable support levels.
Ethereum ETFs Continue Positive Momentum
US spot Ethereum ETFs similarly posted net inflows during Thursday’s session. These products collectively attracted $13.3 million in fresh investment.
Ethereum ETFs experienced outflows during merely five sessions throughout July. This pattern represents a dramatic shift from June, when these funds registered inflows on only four trading days.
The aggregate ETF statistics demonstrated heightened demand across both Bitcoin and Ethereum investment vehicles. These positive flows occurred while broader cryptocurrency markets continued experiencing near-term volatility and downward pressure.
