What Analysts Expect From Each Segment
iPhone sales are projected near $56.5 billion, up about 15%. Services should top $31.5 billion, up almost 10%.
That would be the slowest services growth in more than three years, per LSEG-Reuters. Mac sales are seen at $9.69 billion.
Wearables should reach $8.99 billion and iPad $6.83 billion. Those are the smaller pieces of the quarter.
The iPhone Duo went on sale Oct. 23, after the quarter ended. Investors will be listening for color on demand, not hard numbers.
Hinge and screen issues with the Duo could come up on the call. Longer wait times, though, point to strong demand.
Memory costs are another topic. Morningstar wants to hear how higher prices affect unit prices in the December quarter guidance.
