This latest expansion elevates the company’s total share repurchase authorization to roughly $2.223 billion. The figure incorporates approximately $723 million that remained available under the previous authorization.

Spotify surpassed the 300 million Premium subscriber milestone during Q2, representing 9% growth compared to the same period last year. Its total monthly active user base expanded to 777 million.
