On Wednesday, Google revealed its latest smartphone collection, the Pixel 11 series. The range encompasses four distinct models: the standard Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Each device in the series carries a $100 markup compared to its previous-generation counterpart. The entry-level Pixel 11 now retails for $899, representing an increase from the $799 launch price of its predecessor.
For the premium tier, pricing is structured as follows: the Pixel 11 Pro commands $1,099, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is set at $1,299, and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold reaches $1,899.
According to Google, the elevated pricing reflects escalating memory component costs, fueled by surging AI-driven demand throughout the tech sector. To offset this increase, the company has doubled the base storage capacity from 128GB to 256GB.
The entire quartet of smartphones operates on Google’s latest Tensor G6 chipset. The standard Pixel 11 features 12GB of RAM, while the Pro variants provide either 12GB or 16GB configurations, with storage options extending up to 1TB.
Understanding the Latest AI Capabilities
The Pixel 11 series executes Google’s Gemini Nano AI engine locally on the hardware. This architecture enables the phone to process sensitive personal tasks without transmitting information to external servers.
According to Google, these smartphones can autonomously execute agentic operations, including arranging transportation or placing grocery orders. The devices are also engineered to proactively display contextually relevant data, such as automatically showing your schedule when a contact inquires about availability.
Every Pixel 11 variant receives a commitment of seven years of Android platform and security updates. Purchasers of Pro models additionally receive a complimentary six-month subscription to Google AI Pro.
The base Pixel 11 configuration delivers battery longevity of up to 30 hours. Wireless charging performance has improved by 25% over the prior generation, and the camera system incorporates 30x Super Zoom technology.
Pre-orders commenced immediately following the announcement. The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL will begin shipping on August 20. The Pro Fold model is scheduled for delivery on August 20 or 21.
Pixel Watch 5 Launch and Competitive Landscape
Google simultaneously announced the Pixel Watch 5. The 41mm configuration begins at $399, an increase from the previous $349 price point, while the 45mm variant retails for $429.
The updated smartwatch introduces blood pressure monitoring, insulin trend analysis, and respiratory tracking. Google emphasizes that these capabilities serve as informational tools rather than medical diagnostic instruments.
Apple is anticipated to announce its iPhone 18 product line and a potentially groundbreaking foldable iPhone variant next month. Samsung has already implemented price increases across its Android smartphone portfolio earlier this year.
According to Counterpoint Research data, Google captured merely 3% of the United States smartphone market during Q1 2026. In comparison, Apple dominated with 58% market share, while Samsung secured 26%.
Financial analysts maintain a Strong Buy rating consensus on Google stock, establishing an average target price of $422.59, which suggests approximately 24% potential appreciation from current levels.
