FFAI Shares Advance Following Robotics Product Reveal
Faraday Future leveraged the launch event to diversify beyond its electric vehicle operations and present its robotics vision. The automaker showcased its comprehensive EAI Robot World, encompassing six distinct product lines. Additionally, the firm introduced an educational framework designed for households, academic institutions, developers, and organizations.
The centerpiece of the announcement was the All-New Futurist, a life-sized humanoid robot. According to Faraday Future, the machine measures approximately 5 feet 8 inches in height and weighs roughly 121 pounds. The manufacturer noted that this iteration represents a weight reduction compared to earlier prototypes.
The humanoid platform incorporates 31 degrees of freedom throughout its body structure, with hands excluded from this count. It operates on a dual-battery configuration offering up to six hours of continuous operation. Additional technical details are scheduled for disclosure at the Automate conference in Chicago on June 22.
FX Navi Introduces Educational Component to Robotics Initiative
The company also revealed FX Navi, a four-legged robotic system engineered for residential and classroom environments. Faraday Future set the Navi’s price point at $1,990, with immediate availability for purchase and shipment. The firm also announced optional development kits and educational curriculum packages for consumers and institutional partners.
Navi operates with 12 articulated joint motors and integrates with a smartphone inserted into its head compartment. The mobile device provides computational power, camera functionality, and microphone capabilities for robotic operations. Consequently, the system maintains compatibility with both iOS and Android platforms.
The company framed Navi as a cornerstone of its comprehensive robotics education framework. It also made available a 3D blueprint of Navi’s head assembly for customization purposes. Planned enhancements include autonomous tracking, multimodal sensory processing, and voice-activated controls.
Faraday Future Broadens Robotics Portfolio
During the presentation, Faraday Future offered previews of two additional humanoid platforms. Master Mini stands approximately one meter tall and aims at educational applications and competitive robotics. Nova measures around 50 centimeters and focuses on introductory education and companion roles.
The automaker also unveiled an open-source development environment for students, instructors, and engineers. This platform provides programming utilities, motion control tools, SDK integration, and an Agent Skill Store. Developers can build, validate, and distribute robotic capabilities through a unified interface.
Faraday Future additionally announced its Robotics Partner Program to facilitate international distribution, educational content creation, and ecosystem development. The company indicated that distribution and educational collaborators will enable future rollouts. This robotics venture provides FFAI stock with a new growth narrative beyond its automotive operations.
