Shares of eToro Group Ltd. (ETOR) closed at $41.12, marking a 0.46% decline, following the fintech company’s announcement of a comprehensive platform transformation centered around Tori, its new AI assistant. The update represents a strategic shift toward AI-enhanced trading experiences, expanded account management capabilities, and deeper cryptocurrency integration as the firm intensifies competition in the retail trading sector.
AI Assistant Tori Takes Center Stage in Platform Redesign
During its Intelligence in Motion conference held in London, eToro presented its completely reimagined mobile application. The platform upgrade prioritizes improved navigation speed, enhanced portfolio visualization, and comprehensive asset information pages. Additionally, the update incorporates sophisticated charting capabilities and customizable preferences tailored to individual trading approaches.
At the heart of this transformation sits Tori, an intelligent AI assistant engineered to proactively surface portfolio analytics and market trends. The system autonomously interprets significant price movements as they occur, delivering contextual information to users without requiring manual queries.
Looking ahead, eToro intends to extend Tori’s reach across multiple platforms. The firm confirmed that the AI assistant will become accessible via WhatsApp messaging and Apple Watch, enabling users to monitor holdings and respond to market developments across diverse devices and environments.
Multiple Account Management and Professional Desktop Platform Launch
The platform now supports sub-account creation, allowing investors to compartmentalize distinct financial objectives. Users can establish separate accounts designated for property purchases, pension planning, education funding, or other specific purposes, maintaining clear boundaries between each investment strategy.
Additionally, the company revealed eToro Edge, a desktop-focused solution designed for experienced traders. This platform delivers institutional-quality charting infrastructure and comprehensive analytical capabilities suited for high-frequency trading operations and complex market analysis.
The release also encompasses AI-driven portfolio functionality. This feature enables investors to construct or replicate automated trading agents within isolated sub-accounts, with Tori providing oversight and coordination while preserving user autonomy over strategic decisions.
Developer Marketplace and Cryptocurrency Custody Solutions Extend Ecosystem
eToro has simultaneously enhanced its App Store infrastructure, which accommodates third-party trading applications and analytical utilities. Through the Builders’ Portal, partners including developers, quantitative analysts, and community members can construct custom applications leveraging structured API access and comprehensive development frameworks.
The company has further integrated immediate self-custody wallet provisioning via Tori. Powered by Zengo infrastructure following eToro’s acquisition of the technology, this functionality grants users autonomous cryptocurrency management and seamless entry points to decentralized finance protocols.
This product expansion arrives amid heightened competition among trading platforms vying for dominance through automation capabilities, data intelligence, and cryptocurrency infrastructure. While eToro established its market position through social trading features before embracing digital assets, the firm now leverages Tori to unify community intelligence, portfolio management systems, and AI-assisted trading functionality into a cohesive ecosystem.
