TLDR:
- Former model Precious Muir claims she observed surveillance cameras in bedrooms at Diddy’s party properties
- Diddy’s representatives strongly deny these allegations
- The claims come amid broader legal issues facing Diddy, including recent arrest
- Muir made comparisons to similar setups at Playboy Mansion events
- Diddy is currently awaiting trial at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center
A former model and party guest has come forward with allegations about hidden surveillance systems at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties, claims which the rapper’s representatives firmly deny. Precious Muir, who attended several high-profile parties at Combs’ residences, told The Mirror she observed cameras installed in bedroom areas of his properties.
Muir, who also worked as a Playboy Bunny, drew parallels between security measures at Combs’ properties and the Playboy Mansion. She acknowledged that security cameras would be expected in certain areas of such valuable estates.
“I know a property of this value, of Playboy mansion and of Diddy’s mansion in the Hamptons, they’re extremely extravagant, they’re worth millions,” Muir stated.
However, Muir expressed concern about the specific placement of these alleged surveillance devices. “But in the bedrooms? Why are cameras in the bedrooms? I’ve no idea,” she told the publication.
When contacted about these allegations, Combs’ attorneys issued a clear denial, telling Page Six, “This is a false story.”
The allegations surface as Combs faces serious legal challenges. He was arrested in New York City last month on multiple charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Muir’s claims add to a growing list of accusations against Combs that began in November 2023. His former girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, filed a lawsuit alleging rape, sex trafficking, and physical abuse throughout their relationship. While Combs denied these accusations, he settled the case with Ventura the following day.
Recent months have seen additional developments in the case. A video emerged showing Combs allegedly assaulting Ventura at a hotel in 2016, leading him to issue a public apology. Following Ventura’s lawsuit, multiple other individuals have come forward with their own allegations of assault at Combs’ parties.
Law enforcement has taken action in response to these claims. Earlier this year, Homeland Security conducted raids on Combs’ homes in Beverly Hills and Miami. During these searches, investigators reportedly found items allegedly used in what were termed “freak-offs” – parties that allegedly involved illegal drugs, hidden cameras, sex workers, and underage girls.
Muir’s account included details about her experiences at similar high-profile events. She described an incident at the Playboy Mansion where she nearly had an intimate encounter with a famous athlete. The situation was interrupted by someone banging on the door, which Muir now views as fortunate given her concerns about surveillance.
The former model explained her reaction to the interruption: “Whatever alcohol was in my system, it was just completely gone and I was just like, ‘Oh my God, what are we doing? You are a famous athlete, I’m a new model and we’re gonna be intimate in a room where there’s cameras.'”
Crystal Hefner, widow of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, has made similar claims about surveillance at the Playboy Mansion. In her memoir, she revealed that Hugh Hefner had “little spy holes” at the foot of his bed and claimed he recorded “hours of video, hundreds of sexy tapes” including footage of “wild orgies” involving celebrities and business leaders.
Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee has filed multiple lawsuits on behalf of alleged victims accusing Combs of sex crimes. One plaintiff claims to have been just 10 years old at the time of the alleged assault. Through his representatives, Combs maintains his innocence: “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process.”
Currently, Combs remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2024. His legal team continues to assert that “Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor.”
Law enforcement investigations into the allegations continue. The raids on Combs’ properties earlier this year were part of a broader probe into these accusations. Authorities have not yet commented on Muir’s specific claims about surveillance systems in the properties.
