Bitcoin ETFs Capture Nearly $1 Billion in Single Session
IBIT from BlackRock topped Monday’s purchases with $381.37 million in fresh capital. ARKB from Ark and 21Shares secured $289.12 million, while FBTC from Fidelity brought in $238.84 million as Bitcoin pushed beyond $85,000. This session ranked as the ninth-strongest inflow day since these products debuted in January 2024.
This influx represented the first consecutive three-day streak of positive flows in two weeks. September’s cumulative net inflows now stand at $1.31 billion following August’s $3.52 billion accumulation. The previous October 2025 surge occurred when Bitcoin hit a peak near $126,200.
Multiple Major Funds Share in ETF Momentum
Recent Spot Bitcoin ETF figures revealed widespread interest across numerous major providers rather than concentration in a single product. Offerings from Grayscale, Bitwise, and Morgan Stanley each recorded positive capital flows throughout the trading day. This distribution demonstrated buying activity spanning multiple regulated investment vehicles.
This activity emerged after a turbulent week featuring a Federal Reserve rate adjustment and an unsuccessful Senate cloture vote on the Clarity Act. Market observers also monitored Bitcoin ETF allocations relative to gold as market participants evaluated appetite for both asset classes. Declining oil prices and Treasury yields provided additional tailwinds for broader risk-on sentiment.
Bitcoin Advance Continues as Institutional Players Increase Allocations
Bitcoin advanced roughly 4.7% across a 24-hour period, touching its strongest price point since January 2026. Forced closures of short positions amplified upward momentum as approximately $844 million in crypto short positions were liquidated within a single day. Overall crypto liquidations approached $1.06 billion.
Activity beyond ETF channels remained robust. Recent regulatory filings revealed corporate Bitcoin acquisitions from Strive and Strategy, with both firms expanding their Bitcoin positions during the recovery above $85,000. These corporate purchases provided another indicator of institutional participation alongside ETF momentum.
Ethereum investment products participated in the broader trend. Spot Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. drew $269.98 million, achieving their best daily performance since October 7, 2025. Despite this recovery, Spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to show roughly $450 million in net outflows for 2026 year-to-date.
