- Q3 loss of $0.22 per share beat the $0.27 loss estimate

- 2026 guidance calls for $120M to $150M in operating cash use
Oklo (OKLO) stock was higher in premarket trading Friday after the company posted a third-quarter loss that came in narrower than expected. The stock closed the prior session at $19.20.
Premarket gains ran about 11%. That follows a rough stretch, with the stock down 57% over three months and 83% over 12 months.
Oklo reported a loss of $0.22 per share. Analysts had expected a loss of $0.27, so the result beat by $0.05.
Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.86 million. The consensus estimate was about $1.01 million.
The top line is small, and the cash pile is not. Oklo ended the quarter with $3.13 billion in cash and marketable securities.
Net loss for the quarter was $41.75 million. Loss from operations was bigger, at $71.02 million.
Where the Cash Is Going
Two gains helped the bottom line. Oklo booked an $11.43 million gain on the sale of an asset and a $2.03 million unrealized gain on investments.
Cash used in operating activities was $110.94 million year to date. For all of 2026, Oklo guided to $120 million to $150 million.
Based on that year-to-date figure, the fourth quarter would see roughly $9 million to $39 million in operating cash use. That is the math, not a company forecast.
Spending on property, plant and equipment is the larger line. Oklo expects to buy $400 million to $500 million of it this year.
Federal Money and Supply Deals
Oklo also announced a $6.8 million ARPA-E FORGE award. The funding came alongside the earnings report.
The company signed a U.S. forged rings agreement as well. Deliveries are set for 2030.
Capacity under that deal is reserved through 2035. That is a long runway for a supply contract.
Not every number points the same way. Analysts made 1 positive EPS revision and 11 negative ones over the past 90 days.
InvestingPro rates Oklo’s financial health as “weak performance.” Wall Street holds a Moderate Buy consensus, and the average price target points to more than 200% upside.
