Institutional Accumulation Persists
BitMine expanded its Ethereum position by acquiring an additional 27,562 ETH during the previous week, maintaining the accumulation strategy it initiated on June 30, 2025. The company’s total holdings now stand at 5,983,940 ETH, representing nearly 5% of Ethereum’s circulating supply.
However, institutional sentiment displayed mixed signals. United States spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds experienced $140 million in weekly net outflows, breaking a four-week streak of positive flows. This downturn reversed sharply on Friday when $143.8 million in net inflows ended a three-consecutive-day decline.

Exchange netflow metrics reveal that deposits have exceeded withdrawals recently, suggesting some market participants are capitalizing on recent gains. The Coinbase Premium Index has shifted upward but continues trading in negative territory.
The Taker Buy Sell Ratio turned bearish Monday following a positive weekend trend. Ethereum recorded $224.7 million in total liquidations during the 24-hour period, with $191 million attributed to short position closures.
