Franklin Templeton’s XRP-focused exchange-traded fund maintained its momentum in attracting investor dollars on Sept. 16. The fund, trading under the ticker XRPZ, pulled in approximately $3.5 million in new capital during the session, based on figures from SoSoValue. Among all XRP ETF products available, Franklin’s offering was the exclusive recipient of positive capital movement that day. This performance continues a pattern observed throughout September, where Franklin has consistently secured fresh investment while competing funds experienced varying flow dynamics across different trading days.
XRPZ Captures Entire Day’s Positive Flow Activity
According to SoSoValue tracking, the Sept. 16 session brought $3.5013 million into XRPZ. This addition pushed Franklin XRP ETF’s total net inflows to roughly $483 million since launch. Every competing XRP ETF product registered zero or negative movement for that particular trading day.
CoinGlass tracking for surrounding sessions revealed consistent patterns. The XRP ETF category collectively drew $2.73 million on Wednesday, with Franklin’s fund responsible for the entire figure. Sept. 15 saw flat activity across all products, with zero net movement in either direction.
The category pulled in $8.40 million on Sept. 14 following a completely neutral Sept. 11 session. Franklin also monopolized the $3.69 million in fresh capital recorded on Sept. 10.
Competing issuers captured investor attention during earlier September dates. The XRP ETF space recorded approximately $8.67 million in total inflows on Sept. 9. Bitwise secured around $6.57 million during that session, while Grayscale pulled approximately $2.11 million. Franklin’s XRPZ has established itself as a dominant force for consistent XRP ETF inflow activity throughout the month.
Digital Asset Retreats Following Congressional Action
The fresh capital flowing into Franklin’s XRP ETF occurred while the underlying digital asset faced downward price pressure. XRP experienced a substantial decline after the U.S. Senate voting process ended without advancing the CLARITY Act on Sept. 15. The procedural motion fell short of the required 60-vote threshold necessary for legislative progression.
CoinGecko pricing data placed XRP near $1.42 on Sept. 14 before the asset dropped to approximately $1.28 by Sept. 15. This movement marked a decrease of around 10% over that timeframe. The digital asset subsequently staged a modest rebound and stabilized near the $1.30 level.
