Scorpio Gold (SGLD) experienced a remarkable debut on Nasdaq Capital Market, with shares rocketing 186% higher to close at $14.55.

The company began its Nasdaq journey on September 1, 2026, introducing the “SGLD” ticker to the Nasdaq Capital Market.
The structure involves American Depositary Shares, where one ADS equals 20 underlying common shares. Bank of New York Mellon has been appointed as the depositary institution.
By choosing an ADS framework instead of a conventional listing, Scorpio Gold successfully satisfied Nasdaq’s entry criteria while avoiding a share consolidation scenario.
This approach preserves the company’s existing share structure. Investors holding positions through TSX Venture Exchange, OTCQB, or Frankfurt Stock Exchange face no disruption.
The underlying common shares maintain their trading status on TSX Venture Exchange, now matching the Nasdaq ticker as “SGLD.” Trading also continues on OTCQB Venture Market as “SRCRF” and Frankfurt Stock Exchange as “RY9.”
Understanding the ADS Structure for Shareholders
Shareholders have the option to exchange common shares for ADSs whenever they choose, working through their brokerage accounts. The exchange requires 20 common shares for each ADS received.
The company has eliminated ADS issuance charges until November 25, 2026, lowering barriers for shareholders considering conversion. Participation remains voluntary, allowing investors to choose their preferred holding method.
Chief Executive Officer Zayn Kalyan described the Nasdaq debut as “a defining milestone” for Scorpio Gold. He emphasized that unifying under the “SGLD” symbol across markets provides investors with “one clear identity” as the organization advances.
Nevada Gold Operations and Assets
Scorpio Gold concentrates its exploration and development activities on Nevada’s Walker Lane Trend, a prolific gold-bearing geological zone.
The Manhattan District represents the company’s flagship assetāapproximately 4,780 hectares held under full ownership. This property encompasses the Goldwedge mine alongside four previously operational open pits purchased in 2021.
The district benefits from existing operating permits, secured water rights, and substantial historical drilling data.
Current valuation places Scorpio Gold’s market capitalization around C$104.5 million. Historical TSX trading activity averaged roughly 267,601 shares daily.
TipRanks’ artificial intelligence analysis assigns a Neutral rating to the stock, pointing to limited revenue generation, continued operational losses, and negative free cash flow. However, the assessment acknowledges favorable near-term technical trends and a balance sheet with minimal debt.
As of publication, SGLD traded at $14.55 per share, representing a 186% gain for the trading session.
