Sui (SUI) is currently changing hands around $0.69 following an extended downtrend from its late 2025 high near $2.10. This represents an approximate 68% drawdown over recent months.
The digital asset established a support floor around $0.65 and has since mounted a tentative recovery attempt. Despite this, the overarching trend continues to lean bearish, with price action remaining beneath both primary moving averages on the 3-day timeframe.
The key near-term resistance sits within the $0.72ā$0.75 corridor, where a descending trendline presently restricts upward movement. For bulls to establish genuine momentum, a decisive and sustained breach above this zone is essential.
Should this breakout materialize with accompanying volume strength, the subsequent price objective stands at $0.83 ā representing approximately 20% upside from present levels. Some market participants are also eyeing $0.85, which would constitute roughly 23% gains.
From a technical standpoint, the RSI currently registers around 44, remaining beneath the 50 threshold that typically indicates strengthening bullish momentum. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) reads approximately -0.09, reflecting subdued capital inflows. Neither indicator has yet confirmed a trend reversal.
Analysts Highlight MACD Divergence as Bullish Signal
Crypto analyst Michaƫl van de Poppe drew attention to bullish divergences appearing across daily, 3-day, and weekly charts. Examining the 3-day timeframe, SUI established a lower low, declining from roughly $0.80 to $0.68, while simultaneously the MACD indicator printed a higher low. Van de Poppe characterized this zone as compelling for establishing long positions.

Trading activity throughout the past two months has diminished significantly compared to volumes witnessed during the initial sell-off phase. Reduced volume near potential bottoms can occasionally suggest waning selling pressure, though this alone doesn’t guarantee reversal.
The $0.80 threshold represents a critical level worth monitoring on extended timeframes. A solid 3-day candle close above $0.80 accompanied by increasing volume would confirm the beginning of a fresh uptrend. Following such a move, the $1.00ā$1.20 zone emerges as the subsequent area of focus.
Conversely, $0.60 serves as the pivotal support level. A breakdown below this mark would probably negate the present divergence pattern and potentially expose the $0.40ā$0.50 range.
Sui Advances Toward Quantum-Resistant Infrastructure
From a network development perspective, Sui announced it is incorporating two NIST-approved quantum-resistant cryptographic signature schemes. One implementation focuses on standard user accounts, while the other addresses high-value Move vaults.
Current users will have the capability to upgrade utilizing their existing recovery phrase, maintaining identical addresses and holdings without requiring asset migration. Quantum-safe vault deployment on mainnet is scheduled for later in 2026, with native quantum-resistant accounts planned for rollout in 2027.
I think I’m not bullish enough on $SUI, yet. https://t.co/VqmOvkAab4
