Amazon’s B2B marketplace has surpassed the $60 billion mark in annualized gross sales, the e-commerce giant announced Monday, delivering more than half a billion orders through the current year. Shares of AMZN declined approximately 0.75% during trading.
This achievement represents significant progress for a business segment that currently serves over 11 million organizational customers operating in 11 countries worldwide, including 97 of the Fortune 100 corporations. The first six months of 2026 saw more than 1.8 million new organizations register for the platform.
Shelley Salomon, Amazon’s VP of Worldwide Amazon Business, attributed the expansion to a clear market demand: enterprises are seeking greater efficiency with limited resources.
“We’re developing innovative solutions to enable them to reduce costs and save timeāwhile channeling resources back into business expansion,” she explained.
The platform’s product catalog has grown by close to 30% worldwide throughout this year. Fresh additions encompass repair equipment, grocery items, and office furnishings, with the majority of newly listed products originating from third-party merchants.
The financial benefits are substantial. According to Amazon, specialized business pricing helped customers save upwards of $1 billion globally in 2025. Additionally, Prime Business subscribers realized more than $880 million in reduced shipping expenses.

The company has leveraged advanced technology to sustain this growth trajectory. Newly deployed AI-powered solutions now assist business accounts with expenditure analysis, identify irregular purchasing patterns, and highlight cost-saving opportunities proactively.
Regarding distribution capabilities, Amazon has deployed specialized delivery fleets across 13 states. These vehicles operate on compressed natural gas and are specifically designed for commercial deliveries, offering scheduled delivery windows and palletized bulk deliveries to loading docks and business mailrooms.
Enhanced Prime Business Membership Features
The tech giant also unveiled an expanded benefits package for Prime Business subscribers. Strategic collaborations with CrowdStrike, Gusto, and QuickBooks provide members with reduced pricing on cybersecurity solutions, payroll services, and procurement management platforms.
According to Amazon’s estimates, the cumulative savings from these software partnerships could reduce annual expenses by approximately $1,100 for smaller enterprises.
The enhanced Prime Business membership now includes discounted access to Amazon Quick as an additional benefit.
Amazon’s Business division currently maintains operations in 11 countries and continues expanding its third-party seller network, which has driven most of the product selection growth witnessed in 2026.
