Key Highlights
- Early July witnessed Ripple issuing $291.6 million worth of RLUSD tokens across both XRP Ledger and Ethereum networks.
- XRP Ledger captured approximately 77% of the distribution, receiving $225.8 million in fresh RLUSD allocations.
- Strategic mint and burn operations helped Ripple manage token supply following significant June redemption activity.
- Combined RLUSD circulation reached $1.634 billion, with XRP Ledger maintaining a marginal lead over Ethereum in holdings.
Ripple ramped up RLUSD token creation throughout the initial days of July, distributing substantial volumes across its supported blockchain platforms. The payments company generated $291.6 million in tokens during a 48-hour window, directing primary allocations toward the XRP Ledger. This recent surge in token creation helped restore XRPL holdings following considerable June withdrawal activity and strategic supply modifications.
XRPL Dominates Early July Token Creation
Ripple began July operations by creating 11 million RLUSD tokens on the XRP Ledger platform. Following this initial distribution, multiple transactions ranging from $600,000 to $995,000 appeared within a thirteen-minute timeframe. These sequential transfers enhanced early network liquidity while demonstrating sustained operational momentum.
Subsequently, Ripple generated $65.3 million in RLUSD before executing another $78.85 million creation during evening hours. This larger transaction represented the most substantial single issuance on XRPL since late May activity. Cumulative token generation reached $169.8 million throughout July 1, whereas burn operations totaled merely $150,000.
The overwhelming majority of July 1 creation occurred within XRPL infrastructure, while Ethereum processed the complete burn volume. Community monitoring resources from validator Vet documented these blockchain transactions. RLUSD creation patterns demonstrated clear XRPL preference during the initial 24-hour period.
Cross-Network Supply Management Operations
Ripple redirected additional token generation toward Ethereum during the second day as network distribution requirements evolved. XRPL still witnessed $56.3 million in fresh RLUSD creation despite processing $58.1 million in burn transactions. Meanwhile, Ethereum absorbed $65.5 million in newly minted tokens while executing $9.9 million in burns.
Throughout the two-day span, Ripple generated $291.6 million and eliminated $68.25 million through burn mechanisms. This activity resulted in a net XRPL supply expansion of $167.7 million after accounting for burn adjustments. Ethereum experienced a net circulation increase of $55.75 million during this identical timeframe.
Blockchain records revealed that late June operations directly influenced current issuance patterns. Ripple eliminated approximately $146.3 million on June 30, substantially reducing XRPL token availability. Current creation activity primarily restored previously withdrawn tokens across the ledger infrastructure.
RLUSD Token Allocation Status
Seven-day blockchain analytics documented $246 million in XRPL token generation compared with $205.8 million in burn operations. These metrics emphasized calculated supply oversight rather than continuous expansion. Token generation activities corresponded with recent withdrawal patterns throughout XRPL infrastructure.
Total circulation reached $1.634 billion spanning both Ethereum and XRP Ledger platforms. XRPL maintained $844.5 million in holdings, comprising 51.7% of all circulating RLUSD tokens. Ethereum contained $789.83 million, representing the remaining 48.3% allocation.
Ripple maintained operational support for both native blockchain platforms while modifying circulating supply through systematic transactions. Monitoring systems updated balance information following each documented mint and burn transaction. RLUSD generation remained heavily concentrated within XRPL during July’s opening period, reflecting deliberate distribution adjustments across supported platforms while maintaining consistent overall issuance methodology.
