The capital will be directed toward expanding the company’s data centre footprint and bolstering artificial intelligence capabilities throughout Spain.
This substantial commitment elevates Amazon’s cumulative planned investment in the country to €33.7 billion.
The announcement represents Amazon’s most significant technology-focused investment in Spain to date.
The move coincides with the company celebrating 15 years of business presence in the Spanish market.
The strategic expansion prioritizes Amazon Web Services infrastructure development.
