Nebius Group and Nvidia have agreed on a $2 billion strategic partnership to expand AI cloud infrastructure worldwide. The deal centers on building next-generation cloud hubs for the AI market, with a focus on startups, AI companies, and large enterprises.
The companies said the partnership will cover infrastructure design, software development, and large-scale deployment of accelerated computing systems. Nvidia said the investment reflects confidence in Nebius and its engineering work across the AI technology stack.
Partnership centers on global AI cloud expansion
Nebius has already deployed Nvidia infrastructure across its global platform. The company is also developing multiple gigawatt-scale AI facilities in the United States. Under the new agreement, Nebius plans to expand that base and increase its AI capacity.
Nebius said it aims to scale infrastructure to more than 5 gigawatts by the end of 2030. The partnership is meant to support that target and speed up the buildout of AI cloud hubs in key markets.
The companies said the cloud platforms will be designed for a wide group of users. These include startups, AI-native businesses, and larger enterprises that need high-performance computing capacity.
Nvidia will also support Nebius in adopting its newest accelerated computing products early. This support will be tied to the cloud provider’s broader expansion plans and future infrastructure rollouts.
Future Nvidia systems set for early deployment
Planned deployments include Nvidia’s future Rubin platform, Vera CPUs, and BlueField storage systems. The companies said these technologies will be part of Nebius’s effort to build AI-focused cloud infrastructure at scale.
The partnership also includes work on AI factory design. This will cover system architecture, design reviews, early hardware samples, and software integration for new systems.
The companies said they will also work on AI inference and agentic AI systems. These efforts will use Nvidia software, optimized models, and related libraries to improve performance across Nebius’s platform.
Fleet management is another part of the agreement. Nvidia will provide diagnostic tools and software guidance to help monitor and maintain the health of Nebius’s GPU infrastructure.
Market response follows announcement
Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang said demand for computing power is rising as agentic AI systems advance. He said, “AI is at another inflection point — agentic AI, driving incredible compute demand and accelerating infrastructure buildout.”
Huang added, “Nebius is building an AI cloud designed for the agentic era, fully integrated from silicon to software and powered by NVIDIA’s next-generation accelerated compute.” He also said the two companies are scaling cloud capacity to meet growing demand for intelligence.
Investors reacted quickly after the announcement. Nebius shares rose more than 14%, while Nvidia shares were up 0.5% and traded near $185.
The agreement places Nebius and Nvidia in a closer long-term partnership as demand for AI infrastructure grows. It also gives Nebius direct support as it builds next generation AI cloud hubs worldwide.
