Bitmine Expands Ethereum Holdings Beyond 4%
Bitmine Immersion Technologies reported total holdings of $11.8 billion across crypto and cash. The update follows its recent uplisting to the New York Stock Exchange. The company confirmed it now holds 4,874,858 ETH. This represents just over 4% of Ethereum’s global supply.
The firm added 71,524 ETH in its latest purchase. This marks its largest accumulation since December 2025. The company also holds 198 Bitcoin and maintains $719 million in cash reserves. Additional investments include $200 million in Beast Industries and $85 million in Eightco.
Chairman Tom Lee described Ethereum as a “wartime store of value.” He stated that Ethereum has outperformed gold and the S&P 500 during recent geopolitical tensions. His comments reflect the firm’s continued focus on Ethereum as a core asset.
Staking Strategy and Infrastructure Expansion
Bitmine has allocated a large share of its Ethereum to staking. The company reported that $7.4 billion worth of ETH is currently staked. This approach allows the firm to generate yield while supporting network operations.
The company is also expanding its MAVAN validator network. This platform is designed to offer institutional-grade staking services. Bitmine aims to attract external partners seeking reliable infrastructure for Ethereum staking.
The validator network is part of its broader strategy to scale operations. By increasing staking capacity, the firm strengthens its role in Ethereum’s ecosystem. This also aligns with growing institutional interest in blockchain-based yield opportunities.
NYSE Uplisting and Capital Strategy
Bitmine recently completed its uplisting to the NYSE under the ticker BMNR. The move provides broader market access and increased visibility among institutional investors. Following the listing, the company raised its share buyback authorization.
The buyback program increased from $1 billion to $4 billion. This reflects a shift in capital management strategy. The company continues to balance equity actions with digital asset accumulation. The latest Ethereum purchase, valued at approximately $156 million, contributed to the rise in total holdings. The firm’s steady accumulation signals ongoing institutional participation in the crypto market.
Bitmine’s growing Ethereum position places it among the largest holders globally. Its combined strategy of acquisition, staking, and infrastructure development continues to shape its role in the sector.
