Everpure, which previously operated under the name Pure Storage, conducted its 2026 Financial Analyst Meeting on Wednesday evening. During the presentation, management revealed updated projections for fiscal 2028, generating enthusiasm among shareholders.
Key Projections From Management
Management anticipates fiscal 2028 revenue reaching $7 billion to $7.3 billion. This represents annual expansion of 39% to 45% compared to the previous fiscal year.
For non-GAAP operating income in fiscal 2028, the company projects a range of $1.7 billion to $1.9 billion. This would represent approximately 80% to 100% growth in profitability year over year.
Everpure maintained its previously announced fiscal 2027 outlook. Revenue guidance remains at $5.03 billion to $5.07 billion, reflecting 37% to 38% growth.
For fiscal 2027, adjusted operating income is anticipated to increase 48% to 51%, reaching $940 million to $960 million. According to FactSet data, analysts had previously anticipated fiscal 2028 revenue around $6.5 billion, making the company’s new guidance significantly above expectations.
Chief Executive Charlie Giancarlo characterized the current period as a transformative juncture for the organization. He emphasized a decade of capital allocation toward what he termed an integrated, scalable architecture.
Giancarlo identified four key expansion opportunities ahead. These include Core and Core AI, Modern Data Software, Scale AI, and Hyperscale Solutions.
Wall Street Responds Positively
Analyst reactions came quickly. Northland increased its price objective to $128 from $90 while maintaining an Outperform rating.
BofA Securities took a more aggressive stance, elevating the stock to Buy from a lower rating with a $150 price target. Needham reaffirmed its Buy recommendation and established a $140 target.
The stock’s advance occurred even as broader indices declined. The S&P 500 fell 0.75%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.68%, and the Nasdaq Composite retreated 1.13% during the same timeframe Everpure was rallying.
This divergence indicates the price movement was entirely attributable to company-specific developments rather than sector or market momentum. Everpure became an S&P 500 member on September 21, taking The Trade Desk’s place during the index’s quarterly adjustment.
This addition provides an additional catalyst. Index-tracking funds were obligated to purchase shares, increasing the stock’s responsiveness to favorable news flow like Wednesday’s presentation.
Thursday’s premarket quote of $117.40 positions the stock near its 52-week peak of $119.10. This represents a substantial recovery from its 52-week bottom of $56.78, reached earlier in the year.
