The overall cryptocurrency market gained 1.32%, pushing the combined market capitalization to $2.65 trillion. During this timeframe, Bitcoin hovered around $78,905, Ethereum positioned itself near $2,532, and XRP climbed to $1.44.
Market analyst Ali Charts identified a new TD Sequential buy indication on the four-hour timeframe at approximately $0.0839. This technical tool has previously generated short-term price recoveries of 6.96%, 2.71%, and 11.25% over recent weeks, prompting traders to monitor the current configuration with interest.
According to Ali Charts, whale investors purchased over 240 million DOGE tokens throughout the past seven days, capitalizing on the recent price decline to accumulate at discounted levels. This significant accumulation pattern indicates that major holders are establishing positions in anticipation of a possible price recovery.
The derivatives sector for Dogecoin experienced notable growth in participation. Volume for DOGE futures and options climbed 65.06% to $1.17 billion. Open interest registered at $1.26 billion, declining modestly by 1.63%, indicating heightened trading activity without substantial expansion in new leveraged contracts.
Chart Analysis
Examining the four-hour timeframe, the MACD histogram turned marginally positive at 0.00018, suggesting downward pressure has diminished. The Chaikin Money Flow indicator advanced to 0.01, providing modest confirmation of accumulation activity.
The RSI indicator hovers around 44, positioned beneath the 50 midpoint but comfortably above oversold conditions. While the MACD line stays below its signal line, the negative histogram shows signs of compression.
Cryptocurrency analyst CRG highlighted DOGE’s position above a grouping of exponential moving averages on the daily chart as a potential indication of long-term bottom formation. Maintaining price action above this EMA zone preserves the constructive technical structure.
Critical Price Zones
A four-hour candle close beyond $0.09 may facilitate advancement toward $0.095, with potential continuation to August’s high near $0.10. Breaking above $0.10 would bring major resistance at $0.113ā$0.114 into focus, followed by $0.176.
Should DOGE surrender support at $0.079, traders would monitor $0.075 and $0.070 as subsequent downside targets.
Market participants are closely monitoring Tuesday’s vote on the CLARITY Act alongside Wednesday’s Federal Reserve policy announcement. Either event could generate substantial price movement in DOGE regardless of direction.
At press time, DOGE was changing hands at $0.0847, registering a 0.78% increase over the previous 24-hour period.
