Following a recovery from its summer downturn, XRP is currently positioned around $1.35–$1.38 as of September 11. This valuation places its market capitalization at approximately $85 billion, securing its position as the fifth-largest digital asset according to CoinGecko data.

The digital asset has recorded approximately 7% gains across the previous week and surged more than 30% throughout the past month. Nevertheless, today’s price correction serves as a stark reminder that market volatility remains a constant factor.
A primary catalyst behind this recent upward trajectory is institutional capital. According to CoinDesk, citing SoSoValue data, U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds documented 11 consecutive sessions of positive inflows ending September 2, with total net inflows since their November debut approaching $1.68 billion.
By the conclusion of Q2, Goldman Sachs emerged as the most significant disclosed institutional stakeholder in XRP funds, although these holdings may involve hedging strategies.
Legal Clarity and Strategic Expansion
The protracted legal confrontation between Ripple and the Securities and Exchange Commission reached its conclusion in August 2025. Both parties withdrew their appeals, allowing the previous court decision and Ripple’s $125 million financial penalty to stand as final.
During July, Ripple obtained comprehensive MiCA crypto-asset licensing in Luxembourg. This authorization enables the company to deliver regulated cryptocurrency services throughout the European Economic Area.
The following month saw South Korea’s Jeonbuk Bank reveal its intention to implement Ripple Payments for international remittance services, providing another practical application for the blockchain network.
Digital currency analyst @XrpUdate shared an Elliott Wave technical assessment on X, presenting revised long-term price objectives of $14, $27, and $48 for XRP. These projections represent the bullish spectrum of extended-range forecasting and remain substantially above current trading levels.
Critical Technical Thresholds
From a technical perspective, the $1.30–$1.35 zone represents the primary support area. Meanwhile, resistance is established at $1.45–$1.50, a threshold that has repeatedly capped XRP’s advances during 2026.

A decisive breakthrough above $1.50 could establish momentum toward $1.80 and subsequently $2.00. Conversely, a failure to maintain $1.30 might trigger a retracement toward the $1.10–$1.20 range.
Looking toward the conclusion of 2026, a conservative projection of $1.50–$2.00 seems achievable assuming sustained ETF inflows and stability across broader cryptocurrency markets.
Should XRP reach $5, its market capitalization would expand to approximately $315 billion. A $10 valuation would elevate it to roughly $630 billion, calculated against the approximately 63 billion XRP tokens in active circulation.
The most significant indicator to monitor remains ETF flow dynamics, which have represented the most powerful institutional demand signal for XRP throughout 2026.
