The transaction elevated Strive’s Bitcoin position from 20,167 BTC recorded on August 7 to the current 20,246 BTC. Simultaneously, the company’s liquid assets decreased marginally from $154.9 million to $154.8 million. This cash reserve ensures Strive maintains ample financial flexibility while managing its diversified asset management operations.
The firm has methodically built its Bitcoin position through multiple acquisitions over recent months. In June, Strive secured 759 BTC in a transaction valued at approximately $50 million. Subsequent smaller purchases have followed as leadership pursues its strategy of integrating Bitcoin holdings with conventional financial services.
Market Response to Strive’s Cryptocurrency Expansion
ASST shares registered a 2.96% gain to $12.68 during the trading session as investors responded positively to the Bitcoin purchase announcement. The stock experienced upward movement following the market open and sustained its momentum throughout the day. Strive’s growing Bitcoin treasury continues to serve as a cornerstone of its corporate financial approach.
The company’s outstanding share count also expanded during this reporting window. Class A common stock increased by 597,150 shares, reaching approximately 76.24 million total. The effective common shares outstanding climbed to roughly 86.04 million as of August 14.

Strategic Merger Enhanced Bitcoin Accumulation Capacity
Strive’s cryptocurrency strategy received a substantial boost following its combination with Semler Scientific. This merger transaction integrated a considerable Bitcoin reserve and amplified the company’s digital asset exposure. The deal also elevated Strive’s standing among publicly listed corporations with substantial Bitcoin treasuries.
Since completing the merger, the combined entity has prioritized Bitcoin reserves as a key metric of corporate worth. Strive evaluates Bitcoin holdings per share when assessing treasury performance. Nevertheless, share dilution can influence this metric even as absolute Bitcoin quantities grow.
Beyond its cryptocurrency focus, Strive continues operating its core asset management business. The firm oversees approximately $3 billion in assets under management while preserving substantial cash liquidity. This latest acquisition demonstrates that Bitcoin accumulation remains fundamental to its balance sheet strategy in 2026.
