Cardano (ADA) currently changes hands near $0.196 following impressive double-digit percentage increases across the last fortnight. While the cryptocurrency still trades approximately 94% beneath its record peak of roughly $3.10, recent price action indicates strengthening near-term momentum.

The digital asset recorded approximately 14% appreciation during the preceding seven-day period. Current pricing maintains position above the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) situated at $0.180, which market observers consider a crucial support threshold.
A prominent cryptocurrency technical analyst indicates that Cardano has successfully escaped from an extended downward-sloping channel formation. The initial breakout above this channel’s upper resistance line generated a 13% price increase. Should ADA maintain levels above this breakout area, the analyst projects a price objective of $0.47, representing a prospective advance of approximately 147% from present valuation.
The majority of 2026 price projections for ADA range from $0.22 through $0.30. These price levels would constitute gains ranging from 11% to 52% relative to ADA’s current market position.
Large Holder Buying Activity Bolsters Price Movement
On-chain analytics from Santiment’s Supply Distribution metrics reveal substantial accumulation by addresses holding significant ADA quantities. Wallet addresses containing between 1 million and 100 million ADA tokens collectively acquired 110 million ADA beginning Friday.
However, large transaction volumes continue to register at depressed levels despite the price rebound. Transfers exceeding 100,000 ADA declined to merely seven transactions during the latest period, contrasting sharply with peaks ranging from 50 to 100 transactions observed during previously active market phases.
Market analyst Mr Brownstone (@GunsRoses1987) shared on X that ADA currently occupies a long-term accumulation territory. He presented two possible scenarios: either the price floor has been established and a higher low formation will trigger the subsequent phase of a multi-year bull run, or one final capitulation below $0.138 could occur before a significant trend reversal materializes. His disclosed strategy involves dollar-cost averaging below $0.22 and maintaining positions through market turbulence, embracing what he describes as a “2030 mindset.”
Futures Market Data Indicates Moderate Bullish Positioning
Metrics from CoinGlass demonstrate that ADA’s OI-Weighted Funding Rate transitioned to positive territory Saturday, registering 0.0038% as of Monday. This indicates long position holders are compensating short sellers, suggesting bullish sentiment prevails in derivative markets.

The long-to-short ratio measured 0.99 Monday, marginally beneath the neutral threshold of 1.0. Crossing above 1.0 would indicate long positions surpass short positions in quantity.
The Relative Strength Index registers approximately 64, while the MACD displays positive readings, both technical indicators reinforcing the ongoing recovery trajectory.
Important resistance zones above present pricing include $0.213, $0.231, and $0.236. A decisive breakthrough above this resistance cluster would be necessary to mount a challenge toward $0.30.
Current market data indicates ADA trading at $0.196, sustaining levels above the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement positioned at $0.195.
