Shares of Vivakor (VIVK) climbed approximately 187% during Monday’s trading session following the Dallas-headquartered firm’s disclosure of four significant crude oil marketing agreements through its Vivakor Supply & Trading, LLC division.
These contracts are projected to produce roughly $289 million in annual commercial throughput, calculated using prevailing market valuations. The new agreements are expected to contribute approximately $24.1 million in monthly commercial volume.
Vivakor finalized these four agreements with a pair of commercial partners. The contracts become active on August 1, 2026, spanning a 12-month period until July 31, 2027, followed by automatic monthly renewals.
These arrangements will boost Vivakor’s marketed barrel count to 300,000 per month, equating to 3.6 million barrels on an annual basis.
The company’s trading operations will encompass both Cushing and Midland crude oil markets, utilizing Enterprise Cushing and Enterprise Midland as designated trading venues.
Expanding Commercial Footprint
Including these four fresh contracts, Vivakor reports that its cumulative recurring commercial operations now account for approximately $709 million in yearly commercial throughput.
This expansion also elevates the company’s total annual crude oil marketing volume to approximately 8.1 million barrels, using current price projections.
The organization emphasized the mechanics of its revenue structure within physical commodity transactions. Operating as an intermediary within the crude oil distribution network, Vivakor Supply & Trading captures only a limited percentage of aggregate contract value as gross margin.
This gross margin percentage fluctuates based on prevailing market dynamics, commodity valuations, deal architecture, and physical delivery volumes.
This clarification matters significantly ā the $289 million and $709 million values represent gross commercial throughput handled by the operation, rather than top-line revenue or bottom-line earnings.
Vivakor’s Business Model
Vivakor functions as a comprehensive energy services enterprise, encompassing transportation, storage facilities, reuse operations, and environmental remediation.
The company also maintains among the largest oilfield transportation fleets operating across the continental United States, providing tangible infrastructure supporting its expanding trading activities.
Its Supply & Trading division has been strategically expanding relationships with counterparties throughout major U.S. crude oil trading centers.
With this announcement, Vivakor now maintains recurring operational programs across both Cushing and Midland ā two of North America’s most liquid crude oil trading benchmarks.
These four fresh agreements mark another milestone in developing the commercial infrastructure, as the organization increases both throughput volumes and its counterparty network.
The contracts become operational in less than two weeks, commencing August 1, 2026.
