OpenAI announced a series of app integrations for ChatGPT at its DevDay 2025 conference in San Francisco on Monday. The artificial intelligence company revealed partnerships with Spotify, Zillow, Coursera, Figma, Expedia, Booking.com, and Canva.
The integrations allow users to access services from these apps directly through ChatGPT. Users can connect their accounts and mention the app name in their prompts to use the service.

Spotify explained that users can ask for songs, artists, albums, playlists, or podcast episodes. ChatGPT will automatically bring up the Spotify app in the chat and complete the task.
Stock prices for the integrated companies increased during early trading on Tuesday. Figma saw a 7% gain on Monday and added nearly 2% more by early Tuesday morning.

The company also announced plans to add DoorDash, Instacart, Uber, and AllTrails later this year. OpenAI released its Apps SDK in preview for developers, built on the Model Context Protocol.
Nick Turley, Head of ChatGPT at OpenAI, said users will see ChatGPT evolve over the next six months. He stated it will transform from a useful app into something that feels more like an operating system.
Enterprise Focus and New Partnerships
CEO Sam Altman told journalists at a press conference that OpenAI will pursue enterprise clients with renewed focus. He explained that the company needed to let its models improve before targeting business use cases.
“The models are there now,” Altman said at the conference. He added that the company had selected a few active early partnerships.
Toymaker Mattel is testing OpenAI’s Sora 2 video model for product development. Mattel designers can start with a sketch and transform early concepts into visual representations.
The collaboration builds on a strategic partnership announced in June 2025. Mattel and OpenAI agreed to develop AI-powered products based on brands including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, and American Girl.
Infrastructure Expansion
OpenAI announced strategic partnerships with Samsung and SK as part of its Stargate initiative. The partnerships focus on increasing the supply of advanced memory chips for AI.
Samsung Electronics and SK hynix plan to scale up production of advanced memory chips. They are targeting 900,000 DRAM wafer starts per month at an accelerated cadence.
The agreements include a partnership with SK Telecom to explore building an AI data center in Korea. Samsung SDS signed a potential partnership with OpenAI to jointly develop AI data centers and provide enterprise AI services.
Samsung SDS can provide consulting, deployment, and management services for businesses integrating OpenAI’s models. The company signed a reseller partnership for OpenAI’s services in Korea.
ChatGPT currently has more than 800 million weekly users according to OpenAI. The company generated approximately $4.3 billion in revenue in the first half of 2025.
OpenAI projects $13 billion in revenue by the end of 2025, up from $4 billion in 2024. The startup completed a secondary share sale in October that valued the company at $500 billion.
OpenAI previously integrated with e-commerce platforms Etsy and Shopify. The company has been expanding its list of practical apps available on its platform with an instant checkout feature powered by Stripe’s infrastructure.
